Whether you're ready or not, school will be in session! Many Macaroni Kid families have the back to school routine down to a science, but for others it is a new (and emotional) experience. For those who are preparing for their babies to start school for the first time: it's going to be OK. As I was going through the same fear, excitement and sadness last year with my son entering Kindergarten and my daughter starting preschool, a wise friend told me that we are giving our children their wings to fly on their own. So fear not, savor the moments when the kids are at home, and maybe enjoy a little time to take care of mama/papa bear. ;)
