Construction Begins for Wegman's Supermarket in Montvale
This past week, construction for a Wegman's Supermarket in Montvale began despite an ongoing court appeal to stop the project, according to NorthJersey.com. The $125 million development project includes a 140,000 square foot Wegman's supermarket - the first in Bergen County - with 65,000 square feet of additional retail space on the lot where DePeiro's Farm currently is.
DePiero's Farm will remain open through November. Wegman's is scheduled to open in 2017.
