A Lunch Date with the Kids at Chuck E. Cheese’s in Paramus

Sponsored Macaroni Kid Review

On a recent rainy afternoon, I had the opportunity to take my kids (ages 3 and 7) to Chuck E. Cheese’s in Paramus to check out their new lunch buffet. We have never visited during the lunch hours, and now that we have, we will do so more often.
The kids enjoyed their visit.  The place was not crowded, so they were able to play several games without having to wait. Their favorites were the Fun House, Tea Cup ride, and Jurassic Park game.

They also enjoyed seeing Chuck E. dance. He would come out every 30 minutes of the hour as seen on the banner:

The kids would dance with him, and at the end Chuck E. Cheese would award them with a shower of tickets. These kids were on a mission to get as many tickets as they can get. Have you seen the prizes?! Here is a picture to give you an idea:
After dancing with Chuck E. Cheese, it was time for lunch! The new lunch buffet, offered Mondays through Fridays from 11AM to 3PM, is a great deal: only $3.99 for kids (ages 3-10), $5.99 for adults, and children 2 and under eat free with the purchase of an adult buffet. The price also includes a fountain drink.
The selection was limited to a salad, 3 different pizzas, and a cinnamon dessert. Everything was tasty, and the staff was great with rotating the pizza so it was always fresh.

In the future, I would recommend adding another non-pizza dish for more variety. Overall, we had a great time and the kids enjoyed themselves. I will most likely plan another lunch date with my toddler.
