Cuban Eddie's Restaurant: A Macaroni Dad's Review

By Jason Feinman November 21, 2013
Cuban Eddie's, a Cuban restaurant that first opened in Dumont, has opened a new location in River Vale. A bit of irony occured at my house the other day as my wife remarked how she wanted some rice and beans. Her prayers were answered. I was glad to be one of the first people to dine in. There are a few tables in a very clean, non-descript setting. I got to meet the owner Eddie, who was very welcoming, and my wife and I got to look over a menu that had a variety of choices from starters and sandwiches to entrees and desserts.

I ordered a Cuban sandwich which is pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickes and mustard on deliciously toasted bread, and my wife had Pollo Asado, which is roasted chicken with a choice of white or yellow rice and either red or black beans. Portions were large, the prices are very nice and it all was GREAT!!!!! I give Cuban Eddie's 5 stars!!!

Cuban Eddie's is located at 216-2 Rivervale Rd., River Vale, NJ 07675. The menu can be found at www.cubaneddies.com
