Marvel Universe Live Arrives in NJ With A Bang! Wham! and Smash!

A Macaroni Kid Review (Sponsored)

By Angeline Sheridan July 31, 2014
Marvel Universe LIVE! delivers an epic live show the whole family will enjoy. With an original storyline of the ultimate battle between Marvel superheros and villains, Marvel Universe LIVE! is a 90-minute thrilling adventure that captivates you from the moment it starts, and leaves you asking for more.

Marvel Universe LIVE! features more than 25 Marvel characters banding together to save the world from Loki's scheme to control the most coveted treasure of the Marvel Universe, the Cosmic Cube.

Not to disappoint diehard fans, Marvel Universe LIVE! features the rock stars of the Marvel superhero world - Iron Man, Spiderman, Thor, Hulk, Captain America and Wolverine - as well as a surprising number of lesser known characters such as Black Widow, Hawkeye and Falcon.

As thrilling to see in the flesh were the supervillains: Loki, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Red Skull and Madame Hydra. Kudos to Feld Entertainment for breathing life into these comic book characters through their detailed costumes.

Between the unique plot that stays true to other Marvel storylines, aerial stunts, snappy dialogue, impressive acrobatics, and liberal use of pyrotechnics, Marvel Universe LIVE! is the most exciting live show I have seen this year. My five year old LOVED it, and even thanked me more than several times during the night for taking him to the show. After last night, I think it's safe to say I can join the Marvel team as Supermom.

Marvel Universe LIVE! will be performing at IZOD Center now through August 10 before it moves on to New York venues. For more information, visit www.marveluniverselive.com/.

Macaroni Tips:

  • The lower section seats are well worth the price. Marvel Universe LIVE! utilizes the entire arena floor, and Marvel fans sitting close to the stage will be thrilled to see their favorite superheroes up close and personal.
  • As expected, the production is very loud, and even I was caught jumping in my seat several times during the show. Remember to bring headphones or ear plugs for little ears.
  • Be prepared for souvenirs. Lots of them. From t-shirts to light up swords to souvenior Spiderman cups, you name it, they've got it. You've been warned.
  • Come in costume! Seeing mini Spiderman, Iron Man and even a Captain Marvel only added to the vibe of the whole evening.
