INTRODUCE YOUR CHILD TO NURSERY SCHOOL WITH MID-YEAR 2-YEAR-OLD PROGRAM AT THE YJCC
Do you have a child who will turn two by April 30, 2015 and is ready for a nursery school experience? The Bergen County YJCC’s David Rukin Early Childhood Center Nursery School’s “Mid-Year 2s” is a perfect opportunity to introduce your young child to early childhood education, complete with the rich array of educational and social experiences the YJCC program provides. Registration for mid-year 2s is ongoing, with classes beginning in January.
Registration for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds for the 2015-16 school year will begin in January. The YJCC Nursery School promotes individual growth, development and creative expression through a variety of experiences and activities. Its innovative curriculum includes reading, math and handwriting readiness within a developmentally appropriate environment. A creative approach to Judaic customs and holidays is an integral element of the curriculum, emphasizing Jewish values and culture. The YJCC has a custom-designed playground, and children use the gymnasium and indoor swimming pools under the supervision of YJCC physical education and aquatics staff. Along with half- and extended-day programs, the YJCC offers a full-day option.
Tours may be scheduled now for families considering the Mid-Year 2s program, as well as for those considering Nursery School next fall. YJCC membership is required to enable enrollment in the Nursery School.
The Bergen County YJCC is at 605 Pascack Road, Township of Washington. For more information and to schedule a tour, contact Amy Nelson, Director of Early Childhood Education, at 201-666-6610, ext. 5662 or by email
