Outdoor Family Fun at Closter Spring Fling May 3

Families with children of all ages are invited to visit Closter Commons from 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday, May 3, 2015 for a day of outdoor fun, featuring carnival games and prizes, live music, dance performances, face painting, balloons, food, character visits and the opportunity to adopt a dog or cat from the Closter Local Animal Welfare Society.

 
Families will get an opportunity to learn more about kids' classes at Beau Monde Guitar's Jam Shop, Bricks 4 Kidz, Evergreen Kids Academy, Garden Arts for Kids, Glass Slippers Dance Studio, One River School, Prince of Peace Preschool, Sukha Arts Center, and Kids Party Play and Tumble.

Kids will enjoy special character performances by Elsa, Anna and Ariel, and will have meet and greets with Cinderella, provided by Glamour Girls Birthday Parties. Barefoot Books and Connects will also have tables for great kids' items to purchase.

Kids can play carnival games and win prizes at the Challenge Games Arcade sponsored by Team Makers of North Jersey. Moms and dads can enjoy 10-minute chair massages complements of Massage Envy Spa of Closter or sneak in a 12-minute cardio workout with Destination Fitness.

Get your Mother’s Day shopping done in one day! There will be local vendors offering unique, affordable gifts including Arbonne, Ava Anderson, Beautycounter, Gilly's Organics, Heather's Heydayz, Jamberry, Mary Kay, Pure Potential Juice, Touchstone Crystal by Gael, and Handcrafts by Deborah Lancellotti.

Come and eat at the local eatery, The Barn in Closter, enjoy snow cones, and get your FREE popcorn at Danbe Dental's booth.

Award-winning Holy Angels Dance TeamNorthern Valley Dance Academy, and Sukha Arts Center will each perform an exciting dance routine during the event.  There will also be live music throughout the day provided by Jam Shop’s Rock Band.

Pascack Valley Swim Club will be offering discounts on memberships for new families. PNC Bank will be available for all your banking questions.

Come and meet dogs and cats that need new homes. Be sure to stop by Puppy Kisses' booth for great accessories for the canine in your life and find out more about dog sitting services offered by Paw Pals.

General admission is free, and $5 bracelets will be sold for children to partake in various games and activities and enjoy a free snow cone. Proceeds from the event will benefit two local non-profit groups: the Closter Local Animal Welfare Society and the Center for Hope and Safety (formerly Shelter our Sisters).
