The Swim Gym of NJ Builds A Community of Strong, Confident Swimmers

Learning water safety has always been a top priority for my family. Being so close to beaches, lakes, rivers, streams, and swimming pools offers ample opportunity for fun, but they also raise potential hazards. Having a precocious little boy only heightens my fears of an accidental drowning.

As soon as Cole was fully potty trained, my husband and I enrolled him in swim lessons with The Swim Gym of NJ. Our decision was based on recommendations from other families, and the school’s year-round program. We could not be happier with the results. For the first few weeks, Mr. Carl patiently taught Cole how to safely climb out of a pool and build his confidence about being in the water. By the third month of lessons, Cole’s confidence swimming underwater was undeniable, and he continues to develop his skills as well as his love for swimming. 

Mr. Carl’s kid-friendly techniques are ideal for young children, particularly for those who may be apprehensive about being underwater. I also appreciate that there is never more than 3 students in the pool at any given class, providing each student ample one-on-one swimming time. An added bonus is that classes are flexible: we were able to schedule a class that was convenient for me and two other friends. Since the Swim Gym offers classes year-round, you can start at any time. I would highly recommend The Swim Gym for anyone considering swim lessons for babies, kids, and even adults.
