Kids' Spring Fling May 7 at Closter Commons

CELEBRATE SPRING AT KIDS SPRING FLING MAY 7, 2017 AT CLOSTER COMMONS 

Macaroni Kid's 3rd annual Kids' Spring Fling will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 11AM to 3PM

There will be something for everyone at this family-friendly event, featuring Heather Corrigan of Heather's Heydayz as the Master of Ceremonies. We kick off the festivities with a kids' yoga demo by L'ifestyle Lounge at 11AM, followed by a special visit by a Paw Patrol character, sponsored by The Big Playhouse.




Come and enjoy dance performances by title sponsor Cresskill Performing Arts and Sukha Arts Center, exciting martial arts demonstrations by Tiger Kim's taekwondo, and a special performance by One River School of Art + Design, as well as live music throughout the day.

Kids can play games and win prizes with Team Maker's Challenge Games Arcade, burn off energy at the bounce houses, or get their face painted or glitter tattoos by Garden Arts for Kids. New this year: participate in balloon race car contests.




Shop for something special for Moms among the many small businesses that will be on hand including Beautycounter, I Dream of Jewels, LuLaRoe, Origami Owl, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Rodan + Fields. 

Pick up helpful health and wellness information from Danbe Dental, L'ifestyle Lounge, Pascack Valley Medical Center, and the Spine and Health Center.

Purchase delicious food at The Barn in Closter then stop by the gazebo area to come and meet pets available for adoption from the Closter Local Animal Welfare Society and Pet ResQ.


Get ready for summer with kids programs from Ballet Arts, Bricks4Kidz, Cresskill Performing ArtsDwight-Englewood Summer Connections, Kidville Closter, Jumpin JaxLittle Ivy Academy, One River School of Art + DesignPalisades Country Day Camp, and Sukha Arts Center.


General admission is free, and $10 bracelets will be sold for children to partake in various games and activities as well as unlimited access to the bounce houses. 


Proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit organization the Closter Local Animal Welfare Society. Donate to CLAWS' pet food pantry by bringing in canned dog and cat food, unopened bags of dry dog and cat food, cat litter, and KMR kitten formula at the event.
