Favorite Local Sledding Spots in Bergen County

It's sledding season! Check out Macaroni Kid's favorite local spots to enjoy the snow. We've included anything of note regarding the appropriateness of the hills for certain age groups where possible, but please use your own judgement and sled at your own risk. 

Closter
Tenakill Middle School, 275 High Street - moderate hill for all ages

Cresskill
St. Therese of Lisieux, 120 Monroe Avenue 

Demarest
Northern Valley Demarest High School, 150 Knickerbocker Road - long, steep hill best for older kids

Fairlawn
"TJ Hill" - 35-01 Morlot Ave near Thomas Jefferson Middle School

Old Tappan
Northern Valley Old Tappan High School, 100 Central Avenue - wide medium length hill, good for most ages.

Paramus
Van Saun Park - 216 Forest Avenue 

Park Ridge
Atkins Glen on Bear Brook Road - wide short hills, could get crowded, great for all ages.

Ramsey
Ramsey High School - 256 E. Main Street

Ridgefield Park
Junior Senior High School - 1 Ozzie Nelson Drive

Washington Township
Memorial Field on Pascack Road and School Street - very narrow and steep hill, best for older kids, only street parking available.
