This weekend, the Academy of Model Aeronautics is hosting its annual Expo at the Meadowlands Exposition Center. The event features family-friendly activities including making your own rocket to take home, participating in a flight simulator, controlling model boats in the indoor boat pond, control line airplane flying and more.
Airplane, car and boat lovers will appreciate the models on the display throughout the Center. Guests can even meet a life-sized R2D2 from Star Wars, built by a modeler by hand and signed by the Star Wars actors.
The event is a great opportunity for adults and children to see science, technology, engineering come to life.
