Ballet Arts located at 207 Kinderkamack Road in Emerson is a dance studio focused on technique training as well as instilling a greater sense of creativity, discipline, self awareness, confidence, grace and fitness for children as young as 2 years old through teens. Its mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment where students of all ages and abilities may study dance and the related arts through various ways including bi annual full stage productions as well as in house performances.
Children's classes for younger children ages 2 through 6 include: Tree Top Yoga, Kids Yoga, Creative Movement & Les Enfants. For ages 6-18, there are classes in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap and Teen Yoga.
What started off as a small classical ballet school 40 years ago and has grown into a highly regarded school with a reputation for excellence. Ballet Arts gave rise to the Ballet Arts Company, performing many great works throughout Bergen County. Ballet Arts recently performed The Nutcracker at the River Dell High School in Oradell in December 2016.
