Werewolf fangs, full moon, and fright,
All will be seen on Halloween night.
The witch's cackle is a terror to behold,
So is the sight of the pirates' gold.
The bridge to the cemetery is ready to scare,
Don't run into the skeletons there.
Make sure to visit on a night that's clear,
Haunted Hollows of Waldwick will stir your fear!!
(Poem from Haunted Hollows of Waldwick Facebook page)
Peter, Terry, and Amber Tiernan have been decorating their home in Waldwick to delight the neighborhood during Halloween for the last 20 years. What started as your typical outdoor Halloween decorations, has grown in a major attraction that draws about 600 trick-or-treaters each year.
The decorations have many different themes including pirates, aliens, the cemetery, and mad scientists. And every year they add something different.
This year, the Tiernans will be giving out candy for Halloween so be sure to stop by 146 Lindbergh Parkway in Waldwick to enjoy the full effects of bone-chilling animatronics, creepy lighting, and spooky sounds if you dare!
Also be sure to follow Haunted Hallows of Waldwick on Facebook for updates and more Halloween poems.
