Promising three nights of carnival-filled fun, the Norwood Carnival offers rides and games for children of all ages. Thursday, June 1st is designated as Wristband Night, which grants access to rides all evening for just $25. There will be a variety of special booths such as sand art, sponsored by the Norwood Education Association, and face painting and glitter tattoos by Colors the Clown and friends. La Casa Formoso, Ragazzi Restaurant & Lounge, and Gina’s Food will offer an array of traditional carnival fare and Italian cuisine available for purchase.
One of the carnival’s new attractions is the first-ever Community Night on Saturday, June 2nd from 5:00pm- 8:00pm, where local organizations will be managing the game booths, giving families the exciting opportunity to meet the people who help make Norwood the exemplary town that it is. Members of Norwood’s Fire Department, Police Department, Norwood Public School Board of Education, administration, teachers and staff, coaches from Norwood’s recreational sports, Girl Scout and Boy Scout leaders, Mayor Barsa, and other town officials will be working and attending the evening’s festivities.
