Farmers Markets in Bergen County

2021 Edition

By Angeline Sheridan July 1, 2021

We love farmers markets. They offer a variety of locally grown fruits, herbs and vegetables, homemade breads and desserts, locally made cheeses and pickles, fresh flowers and more. Plus it's a great learning experience for kids. They can brush up on their colors, practice math skills with their money, explore with their senses, and learn about healthy eating, all while getting some fresh air.

Some vendors are encouraging patrons to pre-order items, and pick up at the market to facilitate transactions. Check each market's list of vendors to see if pre-ordering is an option. Different markets will have different COVID safety rules so don't forget to bring masks and maintain at least six feet apart from other people.
