Despite the snowy foothills covering Bergen County, Spring has sprung in the world of apparel. On the tails of New York Fashion Week, I was inspired to trek out of my house and see what local shops are offering for their Spring clothing collections. Not for me, of course -- unless there is a new trend of tired mommy models and spit-up stain couture that I am unaware of. No, I put focus on my little gentlemen who most certainly will be dressing better than me for the next few years whether they know it or not.
Our hearts will be all a-flutter this Spring thanks to Papillon Bambino in Westwood, my first stop of my Pascack Valley Spring fashion expose.
Papillon Bambino's crisp, clean shop appearance was inspired by European travels of owner/operator and River Vale resident Tammy Lynch. As a mindful career woman, Lynch always wanted to bring a piece of that shopping experience to Pascack Valley. The store has only been in Westwood for one year, but Papillon Bambino has turned into a one-stop shop for families at all stages. From baby shower gifts and Christening gowns, to toys and trend-right apparel, Papillon Bambino has the sweetest in children's trends this side of the Hudson river.

As a mother of two boys, I must admit that I am a bit envious at the number of eyelet dresses available for little girls. But, there isn't one little boy who won't steal the show in this sharp plaid vest and matching cap:
According to Tammy, Papillon Bambino's customers have been asking for an expanded size range. Starting this Spring, the store will begin to carry a range of sizes from preemie to 5T.
