The Borough of Hillsdale announced the cancellation of all senior and recreation sponsored events effective March 12, 2020 through April 15, 2020. Borough-sponsored events include, but are not limited to senior van service, senior events, Little League Opening Day, and recreation programs including the annual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 11.
According to the announcement sent to residents, the Borough Administration will "reassess in advance of April 15 whether or not future events need to be postponed or cancelled". To date, the annual Kids Fishing Contest sponsored by the Friends of the Pascack Brook is still scheduled for April 27.
Borough offices remain open but residents are encouraged, whenever possible, to conduct all Borough-related business online or by calling 201-666-4800.
